Scene: The Crawford Estate.

Monica does her best to keep her composure as she stands before her youngest daughter, Sarah. The slightest hint of a tear could trigger her daughter to become an emotional mess. The innocent child had so many questions about her big sister that not even Monica could seem to answer. The only thing Monica could do was ensure Sarah that Kaylee was now in a better place flying with the other angels.

While Monica was still completely in the dark when it came to the reasons for Kaylee’s drastic decision, her husband Sam revealed that he might know the reason for why she did it. Of course Sam has been so distant with her lately that she can barely get a single word out of his mouth.

"Mommy, who’s all coming today?" Sarah asks with her bright eyes locking with Monica’s.

"Well, your aunt Penny and Adam and Tony will be coming…let’s see…who else? I suppose it’s going to be a pretty small affair this year. Your uncle Brock and aunt Sally are still out of the country."

"A small affair? I thought affairs were a big deal. I mean, I heard daddy say that it was a big deal and that you would have hell to pay."

Monica nearly drops her glass of wine when she hears the words come out of her eight year old’s mouth. She has no clue how to respond to such a statement, but she finds herself quickly saved when a knock is heard on their front door.

"Let me get that, honey. I’ll be right back."

Monica quickly walks to the front door and opens it up to see the warm and familiar face of her son, Adam. Standing beside him is Tony with several containers in his hands."

"Give me a kiss, honey. I’m so glad you’re here." Monica embraces Adam with a tight hug. Now more than ever she cherishes the time she can spend with her children.

"Tony went a little crazy in the kitchen this morning, so we brought a lot of food."

"Oh you didn’t have to," Monica looks at Tony. "There’s plenty of food already, but I appreciate it. Please, come in."

Just then, Monica spots another figure standing behind the two of them. It’s the one woman who caused her family so much pain in the past and nearly killed Bo Coleson, the love of her live. The woman was no other than Dinah Maravalli and she was now making her presence known at her home.
