Scene: The Coleson Beach House.
Karen
looks at her reflection in the mirror and puts each hand on her stomach and rubs gently. Inside her are the lives of two beautiful and healthy babies that will be born any day now. While becoming pregnant again was enough of an initial shock, the revelation that she was having twins was more than enough to send her over the edge. Time though has proven that her worries have subsided and she’s ready now to bear the challenge of raising twins.

"Hey babe," Drake
walks into their master suite and gives her a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey love," Karen replies as she turns around and flashes a smile. "Can you believe it? Any day now and we’ll be parents of two beautiful new children."
"Of course they’ll be beautiful- they’re going to take after you in the looks department."
"Oh Drake, flattery will get you….let’s see…everywhere with me. Especially when I feel like a bloated hippo."
Suddenly the door bell rings, prompting each of them to look at each other curiously.
"Were we expecting company?" Karen asks.
"Not that I know of…but you know our family. They love to just drop by!" Drake rolls his eyes as they both make their way to the door.
Moments later the door swings open and the lively Barbara Coleson stands in the doorway.
"Hey Mom! What a pleasant surprise." Drake gives his mother a hug.
"I was in the area and I thought I would stop by and check up on Karen. How is she?"
"I’m right here," Karen waves with a smile. "Everything is fine."
"Are you sure, hon? Is there anything you need at all? I can’t wait for to hold my little grandbabies in my arms!"
"We know, Barb. We’re just as excited as you."
"Of course you are, my dear. This gives you a chance to rectify your mistakes of the past." Barbara’s tone suddenly grows more serious.
"Excuse me?" Karen replies.
"Well, you know, with Brianna. I mean, sending your first child off to boarding school wasn’t exactly the best decision in my opinion. Now you have a chance to do things differently."
Drake and Karen both look at each other with wide-eyes. Something tells them this conversation is about to become heated.
