Scene: The Apartment
of Tony, Adam, and Kaylee.
Nick drops to his knees when he and Adam finally get the door open. A look of absolute horror covers his face when he sees the pool of blood that sits before him. With tears in his eyes, he calls out for Kaylee once more but there is no response. Dead silence quickly fills the room.
"Oh my God…Kaylee!" Adam finally cuts in as he rushes to the bathtub that Kaylee is laying in.
Adam grabs each of her arms and notices the cuts that appear to be quite recent. He quickly grabs his phone and calls 911 to request an ambulance. He is still unsure if she is alive or not as he fears the worst. He then leaves the bathroom to call his mother.
"Why Kaylee? Oh my God…" Nick whispers to her as he grabs her hand and tightly presses it against his heart.
A few minutes later help arrives as Nick and Adam both stare in horror. They seem to do their best to revive her, but they know all too well that it's too late.
Adam and Nick embrace each other with a tight hug. There are no words that can express the pain, and most of all, the questions that will forever go unanswered…
