Bio:

Since childhood, Jason continually confronted himself with questions about his sexuality. Knowing that he was different in certain respects from his other friends, he slowly began to isolate himself and immersed himself in school. Growing fond of Poetry and writing fiction, a genre where he could imagine himself in another world, Jason found a passion in writing and would soon rise to Editor of his school paper and chose an associated path to Major in.

Currently in his final year at U.O.P., Jason is currently student teaching at Royal Palms High School. His plans are to secure a position at the school next year teaching English.

Still battling with the internal struggles he had faced since a child, he soon found the company of friends who were also coming to terms with their sexuality which created a more relaxed environment and better understanding for himself.

Jason's second year at the University would prove to be both triumphant and unsettling. While he was ecstatic to meet Keith Michaels, an attractive tennis player whom he had a crush on and learned was mutual, he would soon have a breakdown when his sister Kimberly intentionally outed him to his family at the 2007 Pacifica Heights New Years Gala. For weeks Jason would confine himself to his room after his shocked parents showed their pain and frustration with the revelation. Finally one night, his parents broke into his room and forced Jason to have a one-on-one with them about what he was going through. While such did create progress in Jasons eyes, his Father Steve has been slow to accept that his only son would never be with a woman.

While his relationship with Keith finally progressed, insecurities would tear the two apart. The two parted ways in the spring of 2008 and just recently started speaking again as they attempted to begin a friendship again and see where things would go. With Keiths recent passing, will Jason have the strength to move on after his first love truly disappears?
